MY TIMES WITH THE BOYS

Okay, my times with the baxx. Guess I should start at the beginning here. Let me tell ya first that I used to remenber all the dates when stuff happened, but since we've been following the boys for 5 years now, some dates might get a bit mixed up (not that YOU probably give a ***.....lol). Offcourse I mad loads and loads of pictures the last 5 years. It's impossible for me to show them all, so I've picked out a few to go with the stories down here.  Nough said.....let's go back...way back...back into time............ . . .  .   .

1996

February. 11th

Hilversum-Holland

They were comming to Holland; the Backstreet Boys. It was actually their second visit here, but the first one I had missed. This second time they came to promote their single "We've got it (going on)" and their single "Never Break Your Heart" was just out. It was my first time to go and try to meet a band, so I started out by simply going to the TV studio where they would be on a kiddies programme. It was pretty crowded. To crowded to get a picture taken with them. But we were just happy to see them in real live. I still remenber how cold it was that day. FREEEEEZIN'!!! The guys felt a bit sorry for all of us out in the cold, that they wrote a message down and all signed it. They had some guy make a copy for every fan outside.....now HOW sweet is that???

May 21st & 22nd

Amsterdam-Holland

This was when I first met Cee, who has been my true backstreet m8 since. We were penpalls and we met at the airport to meet the Baxx. We were SO nervouse....shacking and everything. But all the nervs were gone as soon as the boys walked through the gate. Not just because they were so nice but also cause we got our first introduction with the Backstreet bodyguards.. "Move it girsl...move" "take it walking...let's go" .....*lol* We had no time for stress, we had to MOVE! I got my first pixie taken with Kevin. Un fortunately no hugs or anything 'cause he was holding this dumb cake that some girl gave him..(..I still ask myself..WHY???....it wasn't his Birthday or anything...since then we called her..."The Cake Girl"...hehe.)  As soon as the guys were in their bus we headed for Amsterdam. They would give a lil' concert outside. With us fans on one side of the water and them at the other on a little stage. It was kewl show. They did four songs and fans were blocking the street and everything....Backstreet Chaos Rules!!!! :-). When the boys came out of the hotel, they got mobbed by loadza fans. I still remember, we were standing in front of the gates which were close to the water. AJ came popping out the crowd, and almost fell into the water......BUT ...grabbed my hand which I had put through the gates to get a lil' handshake. So hows THAT for ya Backstreet Rescue HUH?...*lol*. Not that I would mind a soaking BsB (oeh)..:-p

Brian looking in my Cam *shock*      Kev and that weird cake     Nick with his Bad Bad Bad Haircut ;-p

The next day the guys gave a concert in Leiden, their first one in Holland. It was okay for a first show, not much spectaculair, but the crowd went crazy anyway...and we loved it :-)

July 13th

Rotterdam-Holland

We went to the 'Now Summer Dance' Festival with a few girls. We tried to meet the guys again at the airport. But, first off all we were to late, and second of all, they arrived at a lil' airport in Rotterdam which NO ONE who means ANYTHING ever arrives at, so I don't think we would have had the idea to go and have a look there *lol* The show was gr8 though, offcourse. They had Trey Dee with them (who was still bodyguard with the BsB-crew and Kev's best m8). He sang his "Girl, you know it's true"-cover with the boys swinging to it.

August 15th

Colougn-Germany

Cee's and mine first concert outside Holland in Colougn - Germany (the crazy beginning of SO many more...%-}) Gefore the concert we waited outside to get a glimps of the boys. They turned up in their bus and were walking around a lot outside, 'cause there was a little booth which they had to do some interviews in. We had a big sign with us and finally Nick noticed ours and got Brian to do a lil'funny dance for us.

Pixie I took: on the left ya see AJ doing a duck-walk or something...and on the right there's nick pointing at us, with Brian :-))

November 23rd

Milton Keynes-UK

Cee and I went to the UK to see the boys live in Milton Keynes ("WHERE???? " you're thinking....hihi.....but it was the only show that was AND at the weekend AND not to far from London........so there WAS some logic behind it....some!!) The concert was in an amazing small veneu, so we had a gr8 view and some contact with the boys. What was NOT kewl was that we missed our ride back to the Hotel, so we had to walk all the way. Then a Taxi stopped at the side of the road, and we were like "yeah, he's stopping to pick us up" Then the guy asked where "blablabla"was and we said we didn't know. Then he just closed his window and drove ON...MAN!!...It was so stupid.....we couldn't stop laughing all the way home. Then we were almost at our Hotel and we walked passed this Big building, and we saw AJ inside....eating pizza...ARGH. If Cee had had her way she would have run inside and grabbed this pizza right out of his hands, she couldn't care less about AJ.....she was hungry and wanted THAT pizza...*lol* We couldn't go in but we were to tired anyway. The next day we couldn't see them leave cause we had to catch our flight back, which, by the way, we almost missed...hehe. This was probably the trip with the most bad luck EVER,  so bad that it was actually funny :-p

December 9 & 10 & 11th

Den Haag / Rotterdam-Holland

The Boys were bringing their tour to Holland. We went searching through Den Haag to find their Hotel. And lucky enough we did. We didn't have to wait in the cold 'cause we could sit nice and cosy inside near a lovely X-mas tree...*Oh X-mas tree....*....lol. We met all of the boys 'cause they came down one by one. I got a second picture with Kevin and my first with Nick and Brian. This picture with Brian has allways been my best one. He was SO adorable and smiled so sweet. Brian's allways the one who who tries to sneak past everyone, being quiet, so this picture still holds a gr8 memorie for me. That night we went to see the Concert in Den Haag. And the next day we went back to the Hotel to see the boys leave. We didn't see Brian 'cause he sneaked by us somehow. We got to chat a bit with Nick and Kevin though.....no need saying that they were really sweet :-p The concert that night was in Groningen which was a 3 hour drive by train, so we didn't go. also because their third concert in Holland was in Rotterdam which was a lot closer to home. We went to see that one the next day. We got to stand in the first block (we don't have seats in the aremna in Europe) and we're very close to the stage, which is allways nice ;-p...*lol*

Brian and me :-)                                          Nick, not getting AT ALL what a fan is talking about *lol*

AJ "The Blonde Period" :-p                                    Kev signing my something 4 me

It's Yummie Yummie Yummie......need I go on? Brian :-)                                   Some sweaty guys in tight shirts...
